On June 7th-9th, The ASEAN International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2024 edition,
presented by Epson, promises to be a spectacular event, bringing together over 40
international fashion designers from 15 countries. This vibrant fashion week will feature a
diverse array of chic Ready-To-Wear, glamorous Couture, stylish Menswear, edgy
Streetwear, delicate Modestwear, and exquisite Ethnicwear. Attendees will have the
unique opportunity to shop the showcased fashion collections at the AIFW Pop-Up
Showroom. The guest list is equally impressive, including ambassadors from 14 countries,
high-profile entrepreneurs, and socialites. Held at the prestigious creative institution, the
ArtScience Museum, guests will experience a highly anticipated international fashion
week, creating a major impact for Singapore’s fashion and Tourism industry.
The event kicks off on Friday, June 7th, with the Epson Runway Showcase, where fashion
designers from all ASEAN countries will present innovative collections centered around
"Sustainability in Asia."; These designs will be created using Epson’s digital textile printing
technology, highlighting the intersection of fashion and technological advancement. The
following day, Saturday, June 8th, features a Fashion Panel Discussion on Sustainability,
a free-to-attend event offering valuable insights from distinguished panelists on the
impact and importance of sustainability in the fashion and technology industries. The
day continues with the Ethnic Runway Showcase, showcasing exotic ethnic and
indigenous fashion from the ASEAN region, and the International Runway Showcase,
featuring glamorous evening wear collections from international fashion designers.
On Sunday, June 9th, the focus shifts to contemporary Modest Fashion with the Modest
Wear Runway Showcase. This is followed by the Emerging Fashion Designers Competition,
where creative students will present their designs on the runway, culminating in an award
ceremony. The day also includes a Fashion Panel Discussion on Ethnic Fabric,
emphasizing the preservation and importance of ethnic fabrics from ASEAN countries.
The event concludes with the winners of the Emerging Fashion Designers Competition
showcasing their designs in the International Runway Showcase, which will feature edgy
streetwear and mark the closing of ASEAN International Fashion Week Spring Summer
2024.
