“Green Queen” Luissa Burton to represent
the United Kingdom
at the world’s highest fashion show.
“The Official Green Queen”
aka Luissa Burton from the United Kingdom is making history and breaking records August 30th 2023 in the Himalayas in India. She has been invited to take part in the Ladakh International Fashion Show organised by the Ladakh Arts and Entertainment Alliance in collaboration with the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council and Indian Army.
This is to launch a sustainable campaign that has never been attempted before in history, the result will be the breaking of a Guinness World Record for the highest fashion show. The eco fashion show will take place at 19,022 feet just short of the height of Mount Kilimanjaro. The sustainable fashion shows goals are to slow down fast fashion and encourage nonviolent silk. Each model will wear non violent silk robes made in India. Another special fact is that each model in this spectacular feat who will represent the G20 countries, is either a former Miss Earth, Miss World or Miss Universe contestant. Luissa was invited due to having been a former Miss Earth England 2016.
The motto of the event is “Peace, Friendship, and Long-Term Development”. It is organised by Mr Pankaj K Gupta, an international fashion expert and two-time Guinness Book of World Records holder. Each girl from their respective countries will bring half a kilo of sand to mix after the fashion show at Umling-La, the world's highest motorable road to immortalise the G20 presidency and achieve the Guinness World Record.
