Great Success of Serbian Fashion
at Paris Fashion Week
For the second consecutive time, Serbian designers have showcased their collections as part of the
official program of the Paris Fashion Week. Standing shoulder to shoulder with renowned global fashion
creators and brands, Serbian designers dazzled on March 2nd at the magnificent venue of La Galerie
Bourbon, formerly the residence of the Spanish royal family Bourbon. Suzana Perić, Boško Jakovljević for
"Martini Vesto, "Nataša Perkovski Adžić, and the brand "Alesari"; presented their new collections for the
fall/winter 2024/2025 season. Their lavish creativity delighted all attendees, including a large number of
representatives from influential global media outlets: French state television, "Vanity Fair" "JQ".
"Forbes France," L'Officiel," "Marie Claire, "BFMTV," ";FTV"
Suzana Perić's show attracted significant attention, and the originality and innovativeness of her new
collection Posh "Intelligence" received an excellent reception from the audience and media
representatives. Special guest, model, and influencer Elton Ilirijani opened this show and closed it
together with Suzana Perić. Boško Jakovljević's show also garnered fantastic reactions, as he designed
both men's and women's collections for the "Martini Vesto"; brand, staying true to his recognizable
design style infused with new ideas.
Also noteworthy was designer Nataša Perkovski Adžić's collection. The collection featuring black,
luxurious pieces complemented with feather, lace, fringe, and zircon details received excellent feedback
from the audience. In addition to these shows, our national fashion week program - Welcome to Paris -
was complemented by the presentation of unique footwear pieces from the "Alesari" brand.
Each pair of shoes, crafted in collaboration with the renowned "Zsolnay"; porcelain from Hungary, showcased at
this event, represents a small artistic masterpiece that mesmerizes the observer.
"Designers who showcased their collections in 2023 are now evolving on an international level. They
participate in many fashion weeks worldwide and strengthen their position. This sector requires
patience, continuity, perseverance, and investment. They know that this is just the beginning of the
journey, where only the most persistent will achieve success. Undoubtedly, participating in Paris Fashion
Week is the pinnacle of a designer's career. It is an honor for Serbia as a country to be represented
under the license of the French Federation of Haute Couture. It's a chance we must seize properly, 'said
the first lady of Serbian fashion, president of Serbia Fashion Week" Svetlana Horvat in an interview with
French state television, adding that she is proud of the creativity of our designers and that she is
particularly pleased that the Ambassador of Serbia to France Ana Hrustanović and the Director of the
Serbian Cultural Center in Paris Natali Beljanski Popović supported the breakthrough of Serbian fashion
into the world by attending the shows of our designers. Following the shows, an exhibition organized by
"Serbia Fashion Week" took place at the Serbian Cultural Center in Paris. This event attracted a large
number of representatives from the diplomatic corps, media, and other guests who seized the
opportunity to enjoy Serbian talent and creativity in the French capital.
