Based out of Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo, the unique fashion of Edric Ong combines a touch of the ethnic and oriental with the contemporary; innovative styles with creative use of hand-woven silks and cottons.
He is a multi-awarded Malaysian designer of natural dye textiles, fashion and crafts having won the UNESCO-ASEAN Crafts Seals of Excellence Japanese “G” mark awards by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organisation (JIDPO).
Edric Ong was named the “Malaysian Designer of The Year 2009” at the Mercedes-Benz/Stylo Fashion Awards in Kuala Lumpur and “Global Influencer” in 2016.
