‘’Meluhas”
Omar Mansoor inaugurates the his Spring/Summer ‘25 at Paris Fashion Week titled, ‘Meluhas’.
The word Meluhas origins from ancient civilisation of Indus Valley existed during Middle Bronze Age. They were known for the crafts including seals, pottery, sculpture, gold jewellery & terracotta figures, Plain pottery items are found generally made of red clay.
The collection made in association with Kaarvan Crafts Foundation is made in shades of clay and earth. The earth tones are used to depict the pottery miniatures from the era. The colour being also symbolises simplicity, coziness, simple to elegant and authoritative. The motifs hand embroidered by the rural indigenous artisans are inspired from ornaments from Middle Bronze Age.
As a campaigner of sustainability in fashion, Omar uses fabrics made up of a mix of new and recycled fibres in this collection as a means to care about our planet and a step towards shifting fashion from a linear to a circular model.
This evening wear collection consists of elegant silhouette midi dresses to full length gowns that can be glamorously graced up by adding the right accessories.

This year, Omar Mansoor's collection is presented physically at Embassy of Pakistan in Paris.
