Showcases a World of Fashion at Okada Manila

Manila, Philippines – The much-anticipated 5th Season of Manila International Fashion Week (MIFW) triumphantly concluded on June 8, 2025, at the Golden Ballroom, Pearl Wing of Okada Manila, bringing together powerhouse designers, cultural ambassadors, and fashion influencers from around the world.

The one-day spectacular featured top-tier fashion segments, live musical performances, and a diverse runway lineup that highlighted creativity across generations and cultures.

The event opened with an energetic KIDS & TEENS segment, showcasing young talent and stylish collections that captured the playful spirit of youth. This was followed by standout performances by Kryzl and later, Giani, adding musical brilliance to the fashion experience.

Marjorie Kobayashi’s Cool Kimono Crafts at MIFW 2025 stood out as a beautifully executed, sustainable, and culturally rich showcase. The upcycled vintage kimonos, reworked through Filipino artistry, earned her a key role in the Fashion for All segment and solid acclaim at the Golden Room runway.

Irna Juita is known for championing traditional Indonesian textiles, particularly batik and Riau weaving, through her work with the creative collective Puan Aspekraf

Bravo Filipino Segment

Led by celebrated fashion icon Renee Salud, paying tribute to Filipino heritage and craftsmanship.

A special cultural highlight was the presence of Puan Aspekraf Irna - Indonesia, Dr. Kenny Loh - Malaysia and Kongthong Nanthavongdouangsy - Laos who brought valuable creative collaboration from the ASEAN region.

The event was graced by the H.E. Sonexay VANNAXAY - Ambassador of Laos to the Philippines and H.E. Dato Abdul Malil Melvin Castelino - Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines and the representative from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, showing full diplomatic support for their respective national designers and celebrating cultural diplomacy through fashion.
MIFW Founder and Producer Bench Bello shared:
